At the beautiful Hodsock Priory, surrounded by their family and friends, Victoria and Matthew celebrated their marriage, in a day that will be etched in the memories of all who attended and celebrated with them.
The Venue:
Hodsock Priory was the setting for this extraordinary day, the venue provided a stunning canvas for the couple’s vision to come to life. We worked closely with the couple to create an ambiance that perfectly encapsulated their love story.
Theme and Colour Palette:
From their first meeting at our showroom Victoria and Matthew had their colour theme decided. Dusky Blue and lots of greenery. The dusky blue, whilst a typical ‘wintery’ colour infused warmth and elegance. Our frosted greenery centrepieces, aisle styling and of course the gorgeous Christmas decorations, created the most beautiful day.
The Ceremony:
The Buchanan Hall was transformed into a cosy, romantic space. Our beautiful ‘Lyla’ Moongate, framed the end of the aisle, ready for the all important ‘I do’s’ The aisle was lined with bronze lanterns and petals, creating an ethereal pathway for the bride to walk down. All the chairs were dressed with dusky blue chiffon drapes tied with an ivory ribbon.
Wedding Breakfast
As the sun began setting, the wedding breakfast unfolded in a space that felt like a Christmas fairytale. Tables were adorned with a tall glass vases, with an artificial greenery and ivory floral arrangements with added thistles, Victoria and Matthew were keen to have thistles throughout their wedding. Around the base of the vase was candlesticks and tea light holders. The top table was filled with fresh greenery, candlesticks and tea light holders, as the sun would be setting during the wedding breakfast, Victoria was keen for the table to be full of candlelight. The dusky blue napkins and chair sashes finished the look and everything looked gorgeous.
