So, COVID – 19, we’ve had a few messages over the past few days and we just wanted to address any concerns that you may have about the virus and how it may affect us all in the coming weeks/months.
You’ll be pleased to know, it is very much business as usual for us, the Nuptia family is well. However, like many other responsible businesses, we are taking the advice from the government in regards to measures that help prevent the virus. We’re also keeping up the same high (fussy) standards we always do (not a surprise for those of us that have met us a few times!) with our cleaning processes for our stock, storage unit and showroom.

Below are some of the frequently asked questions we have had so far.

Will my wedding go ahead?
Until we hear otherwise, all weddings will go ahead as planned!
Whilst your venue is still open, we will still be there to style! We have no intention of cancelling any of our weddings.

What happens if my wedding is postponed due to Government Policy?
If this happens, we can work with you to reschedule and honour your booking. Whilst this type of situation definitely falls under ‘unforeseen circumstances’, we take the happiness of our brides and grooms very seriously and we will therefore do everything within our ability and power to help you have the day you dreamed of.

What happens if you (Nuptia) contract the virus?
A sensible business will always have backups, just in case, and we have already developed contingencies if issues were to arise as a result of the virus.

As a worst-case scenario, we are fortunate to work alongside some gifted and professional local stylist friends, who would be more than capable and happy to take over. If circumstances dictated, taking the reins on the logistics of your day. The wedding industry is full of amazing people who are all in this together!
If we do have to self-isolate, all your styling plans, notes and photos will be sent to our back up stylists, so please do not worry.

Can I still come for my appointment?
Appointments are available, it is business as usual for us. All we ask is that if you or a family member is unwell, please do not attend, we can easily fit you in once you/family member is feeling better.
If you have an appointment booked in and wish to reschedule, this is absolutely no problem at all.

If your wedding is late 2020 or 2021, it may be worth meeting at a later date when things are more settled. This also allows us to have more availability for couples experiencing difficulties.

Please remember we are always at the end of the phone, email or we can do a video call.

I am self – isolating but need to speak to you about my wedding?
No problem at all, we are always at the end of the phone, email or we can do a video call if you would prefer.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask
